The Collection
In this collection, Yolanda Pérez, the creative director of the brand, reinterprets the aesthetic codes of Marquise Luisa Casati, one of the most iconic figures in fashion and culture from the early 20th century. She does so through a proposal framed by her three constant sources of inspiration: the influence of Catalan Modernism, the free and transgressive energy of the 1970s, and the magical needlework of master Mariano Fortuny.
Among the silhouettes, standout pieces include wrap-around tunics and coats, seventies-style trousers, maxi blouses, and straight-cut dresses with Art Deco touches in fabrics and materials that flow between leather and lace, crafted using the soleil pleating technique; velvet and silk chiffons, and hand-embroidered ornamental details.
The Brand
Yolancris is a Barcelona based luxury brand specialized in evening and bridal gowns. Founded in 2005 by two sisters, Yolanda (1978) and Cristina (1979), creative directors of the brand and Yolancris’ soul, who both inherited the passion and craft from their mother, pioneer in the bridal business.
It was when their vision was born: to revolutionize bridal fashion. After more than 20 years in the business, and alongside the team of seamstresses and artisans that has accompanied them since the very beginning, Yolancris is committed to quality and meticulousness of local production and craftsmanship. The ‘handmade’ is more than a phrase: it is the philosophy that they carry out from their recently opened flagship store in Avenida Diagonal 508 in the same city.
Yolancris were the pioneers of the well-known Boho Style now so present in bridal collections. The Firm attends the prêt-à-porter and bridal fashion weeks of Paris, New York and Barcelona, and is currently present in markets such as Asia, Japan, USA, Europe, Russia and Latin America in more than 30 countries overall.
