The finer things

Greek Cypriot contemporary fashion designer, maRia aRistidou is the creator behind the self-titled label “maRia aRisitdou” & “maRis”.
 
From the early years of her studies in Economics, she discovered and developed, with a great persistence as a self-learner, her passion for fashion design.  
Her label is inspired by her love of the finer things in life as well as her exceptional eye for detail.  Maria believes in creating designs that are wearable for men and women of today’s lifestyle with touches of elegance and luxury but at the same time comfort and trendy. 
 
Her love for art and craftsmanship various collaborations usually brings glamour yet simplicity in her designs and fabrics.  The introduction of her AW2015 knit pattern was the start of a new concept in the maRia aRistidou designing work. The game of colors in both knits and fabrics gives the opportunity to the designer to create a high-end pret a porter collection, easy to wear for both men and women.  
 
On another note, the designer’s philanthropic interest, and especially for children well being, will be presenting SS2016 Resort collection in a collaboration with LIVE AID Symphony Orchestra at the SGM Conference Center in Rome, Italy in order to gather money for The House Music and Art in Cameroon!
