Ema Savahl Couture comes to the world of high fashion as the love child of creator - designer and owner Ema Koja. By marrying her limitless imagination with her exquisite taste, Ema brings in collection after collection of wearable pieces of art. Her strong talent in pattern making and mixing, her fine eye for color combination and detail oriented approach, have made the brand Ema Savahl recognizable and a fan favorite amidst celebrities and fashionistas worldwide. Once you see an Ema Savahl design, you fall in love with it, and unlike any love, you remember its uniqueness and you recognize it always! 

The beginnings of Ema Savahl-the brand date as far back as Ema Koja– the dreamer’s childhood. Growing up in Albania, surrounded by her designer/ tailor aunts, Ema got the abc-s of creating something from your imagination and the proud feeling of watching your creation worn. Mixed in with layers of Venetian lace and sewing machine grease, the dream was born, the dream that one day would become Ema Savahl. But not just yet! A self-proclaimed firm believer not in destiny so much as in people making their own luck, Ema did follow her own original path. The daughter of a pro volleyball coach (her dad) Ema became a pro volleyball player herself. Not that it needed to, but this instilled in her the impeccable discipline and work ethic. Her pro volleyball career relocated her in Italy, where she did some modeling for Blue Marine, PARAH and Off Limit, which gave Ema a tremendous insight of the fashion industry. While in Italy, she also studied pattern making, which gave her the technical knowhow of incorporating her own artistry in fabrics and other raw materials. Born with the talent and armed with all the knowledge one can absorb hands on, it was only natural for Ema to follow her instinct and be her own inspiration! Only in one of the hottest city on the planet, with the most diverse people from all over the world, with a thriving night life and a Makah for fashion industry such as Miami Beach, Florida; could delicate fabrics, exotic colors and wild artistry be worn and seen freely. And this is where the brand that everyone was soon to be reckoned with was born! Ema Savahl Designs opened for business in 1996 and has been making women look and feel beautifully unique ever since!

While the collections are intended for special events, they definitely bring out the confidence and the “je ne se qua” attitude in everyone that wears an Ema Savahl design. From Katie Perry, Giuliana Rancic, Roselyn Sanchez and many more celebrities, red carpets everywhere get continuously acquainted with Ema Savahl. From CNN studios to American Idol stages, eyes all over the world fall in love with Ema Savahl. Soon the industry itself took notice when Ema won the Break out Award for Best New Fashion Designer in Paris in 2000. She was also quoted as Best Fashion Designer by New Times – Best of Miami in 2007.
